¿Alguien conoce a Johhny Fedora y Alice Bluebonnet? Pues es una historia que muestra que el amor triunfará no importa lo que pase.
Alice y Johnny se conocieron una noche del mes de abril en una vitrina de la gran ciudad. Fue amor a primera vista y prometieron estar juntos siempre. Desafortunadamente, Alice fue separada de Johnny.
Johnny viajo por calles y ciudades buscándola, terminó en los barrios más bajos y su vida peligró un par de veces. Cuando estaba a punto de darse por vencido, le salvaron la vida y el destino por fin lo unió con su querida Alice. Vivieron juntos y felices por siempre.
El cortometraje viene incluido en "Make Mine Music" (A.K.A Música Maestro), producido por Disney en 1946 y dirigido por Jack Kinney. También lo incluyen en "From Disney With Love"

He kept on returning
To the window of the department store

He was literally crushed

For his Alice was nowhere in view.
But hey nonnie-nonnie,
An iceman found Johnnie
And he cut him to fit on his horse's ears.

Letra en español:
En la vitrina que adorna la esquina
una linda noche nació un amor.
Él se declaró, ella un beso aceptó
y juró amarlo con fervor.
Él le cantaba y decía:
"te daré mucha felicidad
y de todo lo que me pidas,
tú tendrás doble cantidad"
Más vino el destino,
con cruel desatino,
a interrumpir su felicidad.
Los dos que se amaban
jamás sospechaban
que los fuese a separar.
"Ámame siempre,
que aunque ahora me ausente,
mi ser nunca te olvidará,
soy tu prometida
y tuya es mi vida,

Días vinieron y meses se fueron
y él ya ha perdido su amor creyó,

Buscó por los pueblos,

hasta llegar a la capital,

Camina y camina volvió a la vitrina
a buscarla donde la conoció.
Fue inútil venir, aumentó su sufrir
y de pena morir creyó.
Al ir errante gemía:
"Ven a mí, sin tu amor moriré,
me arrastra mi suerte impía
y estoy ya perdiendo la fe."
Cuando él más sufría y su fin presentía
su mala suerte lo abandonó
la mujer que adoraba
junto a él se encontraba,
el destino al fin los reunió.
Y juntos juraron jamás separarse
y amarse hasta la eternidad.
Y colorín colorado,
el cuento a terminado
con dicha y con felicidad,
ha triunfado el amor de verdad.
Una linda enseñanza disney:
El amor, no importa lo que pase, triunfa...
... siempre y cuando seas un sombrero. ^^
