John Nolan: Nolan's Cheddar

Hey!

Parece que el apellido Nolan es sinónimo de talento. Esta vez no hablo de Christopher director de The Dark Knight; ni de su hermano Jonathan guionista de Memento, hablo de John, artista y director de animación que ha participado en una decena de películas haciendo animatronix y efectos especiales.

Actualmente es parte de Streetlight Films en el Reino Unido que se dedica a producir comerciales de tv un tanto fuera de lo común.

John Nolan ha participado en Where The Wild Things Are, Hellboy 2, Brothers Grimm, Clash of titans, Harry Potter 3 y 4, Dr. Who y otras tantas películas y comerciales.

Where The Wild Things Are

Hey!

"...his mother called him "WILD THING!" and Max said "I'll EAT YOU UP!" So he was sent to bed without eating anything."

Where the wild things are es un libro escrito el ilustrado por el estadounidense Maurice Sendak.


En el 2009, Spike Jonze, conocido por su trabajo como director de videos musicales, llevo al cine la historia. Ha sido nominada en diversos festivales.

Recomendaría la película si en México se le diera distribución, pero su fecha de estreno se ha ido atrasando a tal punto que parece saldrá sólo en dvd. Mientras les dejo el trailer:



El libro lo pueden encontrar fácilmente, y supongo que la película (si viven en otro lado que no sea México -.-) también.

Lean el libro -no se arrepentirán-, vean la adaptación de Jonze y, como dice Max, soberano de los monstruos:
"Let the wild rumpus start!"
